Scope:
Responsible
for the overall factory management and to ensure that production
output meets set quality and forecast requirements and Maintaining
the accurate quality
and
quantity control to ensure the on-time delivery of produced products
in order to satisfy the customers.
Key
Result Areas:
i. Production Planning:
-
Overseeing and planning for overall production / stock /
logistics activities, implementing effective techniques to
bring efficiency in operations, improving quality standards
& achieving cost savings.
-
Determining the future needs and production capacity for
producing required quantities of equipment/other
requirements on pre-defined standards within financial
costs.
-
Overseeing production related tasks including planning,
control and troubleshooting for the machinery and equipment
for assembly & testing.
-
Coordinating with product development, process engineering &
quality engineering team for development of new products.
-
Managing variety of processes such as Stud Bots, Anchor
bolts Hex and heavy hex bolts, Threaded bars, Nuts Washers
and Fasteners components.
ii. Operations & Maintenance:
-
Implementing TPM activities, plans & schedules for maintenance,
operations and annual turnarounds with focus on optimum
utilization of manpower, machines & material.

Managing the functions of troubleshooting and preventive /
breakdown maintenance of various machines.
-
Carrying out overhauling work of equipment, modifications and
major repairs to improve equipment efficiency by fault finding.
iii. Erection & Commissioning:
-
Handling erection and commissioning of the equipment as well as
conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational
effectiveness of plant & utilities.

Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical
specifications and cost estimates for erection & commissioning
of the plant.
iv. Quality Assurance & Control:
-
Handling quality tests and validation of process to ensure
completion of projects within stipulated time / cost parameters,
determining the effectiveness of equipment & machinery.

Taking stringent quality measures including preparation /
maintenance of necessary documents & conducting audits to ensure
compliance.

Facilitating new product development initiatives with key focus
on QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery)

Managing assembling of manufactured equipment and adhering to
the pre-set technical specifications.
-
Overseeing the coordination and maintenance on the ISO 9001
Activities.
Skills & Specifications:

Knowledge of ISO Standard.

good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good time management and Manpower planning skills.

Knowledge of production machinery and techniques.

Knowledge of engineering drawings.

Ability to solve complex manufacturing problems.

Ability to influence and strong accountability.
Candidates Requirements:
-
Candidate should preferably be from the Fasteners Industry with
proven track record in setting up and running of a Fasteners
Production Plant.
-
Production Engineer or mechanical Engineer degree essential.
-
Minimum of five to ten years of experience required.
-
Strong communication skills with English and Hindi.
-
Should have knowledge of ERP or production software would be an
advantage.
